Cottonwoods in April

Up from the always-present heat of early summer in Phoenix, there are few things as refreshing as being amongst the cottonwood trees; standing by a creek; in the Verde Valley. It transports one to a different time and place: where one can take time slow and where I’m transported back to the lazy days of autumn growing up.
